Festive Spirit in JBo Larne

We were delighted to hear about Larne Jobs & Benefits team supporting Christians Against Poverty (CAP) over the festive period. Margaret Quinn, Work Coach Team Leader, Larne JBo, highlights below how staff in the office recently helped Christians Against Poverty (CAP) make and deliver Christmas hampers to those in need.

Margaret explains: “As we work regularly with CAP, and they often attend our team time we heard firsthand of the difficulties they face at this time so we decided to come together to help them out.  Our dedicated team members rolled up their sleeves and got to work, sorting, counting, preparing, packing and delivering hampers filled with festive treats and essentials. This act of kindness as well as helping the small team of CAP volunteers will also bring joy and comfort to vulnerable individuals and families in our community.  The experience was incredibly rewarding for all involved with many staff expressing a desire to volunteer again next year."
