The WELL Team were delighted to hear from Champion Andrew Trainor and the team who were fundraising through a bake sale and raffle for the Cancer Fund for Children Charity. A cause near and dear to them after the sad passing of Ciarán Mallon, a dear collegue and friend. The fundraiser was held in his memory.
After the passing of our colleague and friend, Ciarán Mallon, a fundraiser was held Castle Court to honour his memory.
Well champions collaborated with NIPSA Branch 118 and the Sports Association and organised a cake sale and a raffle.
We also got the local G4S team involved to help with the selling of ballots - special mention to Jim and his champion ballot selling.
This was a real team effort and it managed to raise a grand total of £1260 for the Cancer Fund for Children charity.
As it approaches the first anniversary of Ciarán’s passing we thought it would be a good time for the presentation of the money to the Cancer Fund for Children.
