The aim of Autism NI is to build an inclusive society where autistic people can achieve their full potential. We campaign to inspire and educate communities, businesses and government to ensure autism accessibility for the neurodiverse community.
Diversity is key to any organisation, and becoming autism accessible will not only increase staff knowledge and understanding of autism but will empower staff teams to deliver better employee relations with the neurodiverse community.
In this session we will explore the key characteristics of autism, the spectrum and language, the employer's legal obligations, strategies and reasonable adjustments to support autistic people in the workplace.
