Do you live or work in Belfast and want to cycle more?
Better By Bike will help you grow your cycling confidence. It is a 6 week, progressive programme for adults, comprised of 6 core sessions plus a 7th, optional on-road training session.
If you have recently started cycling or are not confident cycling on your own, join them on this programme. The programme is about encouraging you to cycle for more everyday journeys as well as for personal wellbeing.
The aim is to build your confidence, develop basic cycling skills; increase knowledge looking after your bike and learning about how to get where you want to go, using the best route.
Together with experienced Sustrans staff you will discover:

The programme will run every Wednesday (6pm - 8pm) from 20th October to 17th November and one session is on Saturday 23rd October from 2.30pm to 4pm.
This session is available to over 18's only and the programme will be delivered under current Covid-19 guidelines. There are 8 places available, pre-booking is mandatory.
The Sustrans Active Travel Hub is encouraging people in east Belfast to walk and cycle more for everyday journeys. This programme is funded by the Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs.
The project aims to help tackle air pollution, to improve air quality as well as health and well-being. It encourages local employees and residents to cycle and walk more for everyday journeys, using the Comber Greenway and Connswater Community Greenway, in east Belfast.
