The Pavilion, Stormont
2pm - 5pm
The NICS LGBT Staff Network is pleased to announce that the third annual Sexual Health Awareness seminar will take place on Tuesday 28th September 2021, at the Pavilion, Stormont and online. This year’s event has been organised in partnership with the PSNI LGBT Network & NICS WELL and will focus on Sexual and Domestic Violence.
We are once again pleased to announce that we have a diverse range of guest speakers from various organisations including PSNI, The Rowan Centre, NEXUS, Victims Support NI and Laura Milner PhD researcher from QUB.
The seminars are open to anyone seeking general information on issues around ‘Sexual or Domestic Violence’ and those who would like to be able to signpost others to appropriate services and support. Whether you are interested from a personal, professional or parenting point of view, you will be welcome to attend.
Due to COVID-19 and social distancing rules the number of places will once again be limited, however to accommodate as many people as possible there will be both a morning and afternoon session. If you are interested in attending in person please register as soon as possible to secure a place.
The organisers are pleased to announce that the seminar will also be recorded and posted on the NICS LGBT Network and NICS WELL websites for a limited period for the benefit of anyone unable to attend in person.
A light lunch will be provided to attendees at the Pavilion, Stormont.
