All UK
Awareness Month
Stress Awareness Month has been held every April, since 1992.
During this annual thirty day period, health care professionals and health promotion experts across the country will join forces to increase public awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic.
According to the Mental health Foundation 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. Therefore it is vital we take steps to improve our mental health.
The current situation of COVID-19 has caused millions of us around the world to experience higher levels of stress than normal and it is damaging our health. Given this it is even more important to take care. Why not take it upon yourself to do something you, or someone close to you in relation to mental health.
